- I say what's good for the goose is good for the gander. If your victims were tortured and raped, you should too. And then you can be put in a prison where you're locked up 23 hours/day 'til someone does you in during your one hour of sunlight.

- Agreed. This little girl is very lucky!! I have to wonder, though, why women still don't follow the rules? Ladies, no matter what--you can leave your child at any hospital, any fire department, any police department--no questions asked. Just leave your baby in the hands of a caring adult.

- Newsflash to Ms. O'Connor: The Supreme Court has never been perfect. In fact, if anything, it is extremely imperfect, and therein lies its beauty. It can screw up. And therein lies the imperfection. Interpretation of U.S. law varies from one court to another, from one judge to another.

- Me too--I find the story fascinating! And the jewelry she was found with, quite sophisticated for the times. Very beautiful, too. Wish her remains could be carbon-dated. It's a shame that they cannot, but I'm glad archaeologists do their best with the knowledge they do have.

No
- No, my husband wanted Sam, and I wanted Luke--we settled on Sam Lucas, and it fits him beautifully. :D
Would you let your child participate in a beauty pageant?
Yes. If she expressed an interest. Pageants can be a fun and exciting experience and as long as my child's having fun I don't see any harm in it.
- But, I will say, too many stage-mothers do take the fun out of it for the child--if you have any doubts, watch "Little Miss Perfect" on TLC
- I agree--sometimes it's just easier to let kids be kids. After all, they don't stay little for long. :)
